Shame, there's nearly 50 years of differently styled Doctor Who for you to choose from. Him? He's called the Doctor, not Doctor Who.

There's nothing else closer to HHGTG than Who, especially as Adams used to write for it.

I don't care. Most of the series is so boring that I nearly fall asleep every time I try watching it. I quite liked that Doc with the flute though, that was hilarious.

Boring! Again, what period where you watching? You have to be specific with 30 seasons in the bag. I thought some might think several things of Doctor Who but not boring. It's far too bizarre and not geeky enough to be boring like some sci-fi shows.

Due to my age, I started out with watching the revival with that monkey-looking-doc. I've always watched bits of the newest one. I've watched a few episodes from the second doc, the blonde doc and that creepy old fella with curly hair.

I take it the creepy fella is Tom Baker, the best Doctor ever?.. Jesus. The new series is crap, not going to defend that.

I'm quite picky. I also see Star Trek as pure feces. To be blunt, I'm not really a sci-fi fan. The only reason I like the HHGTG is because I read it.

Oh fair enough, I thought you were a sci-fi fan! Some people I know have said they found HHGTG really boring just for the record. I do think HHGTG appeals to a wider audience than mainstream sci-fi. Even my sci-fi hating sister likes it.

just how far off-topic can a thread go in the off-topic section?

Because there's hardly any other decents games for it! And Windows sucks of course.
