 Post subject: Any scripting languages??

Hey Oddlabs!!
I just wanted to ask if you used any kind of scripting language in Tribal Trouble (for level design, AI or something like that). If you did- what kind?? Something like LUA or Python or did you use a self-developed one??

Not really. The AI is actually pretty simple. It would probably have been easier with a scripting interface or other API, but at the time it was easier just to code it instead of creating tools for it.

sune have u ever considered makin he ai slightly harder or more challenging?
if u want i could pm u a few good stratergies so u could make like a Super ai or something
??

We have a long list of things we would like to do, which we do a few things from once in a while. An improved AI is one of them, but it is also a quite big one so it isn't likely we will do right now. But who knows?

i think that if u ever made an improved ai, it should be like a hyperAI rather that like making all ai better because they might be to hard for not-so-good peopl.

lol i think the ais do cheat because i was vsing an 2 hards and i killed 1 and the other 1 i put all my men round its base so it couldnt get recorses and it kept comeing out with about 9 rock5iron 99chiken :P.

well how come i killed all its peons and my iron attacked it and it came out with like 15 rock?
does it keep a stash?
