I have been following the progress of tribal trouble for about 2 year now from the start of the project and now when I visit your web site to the end of the project. Been silent in the background following other progress of Java+OpenGL solutions.

It’s nice to see that you have used OpenGL and also JNI to access the native power of the openGL library and also doing optimization arithmetic within C/C++. Then utilizing java for management of game logic, code structure, readability, reliability, and most of all getting the product to the shelf.

Not only have you managed to use the technology but also your game play and interface would have to be one of the best I have seen in any game development project. The game play is very addictive and fun and interactive, more-so im hooked on the birds they’re lovely. Its apparent without the technical burden and language complexities that you have with large C++ projects you have spent more time in what really matters in any major software product, giving a emotional and fun experience when using the software. These I hope you will continue and improve with new games that you’re developing.

I have no doubts that you will continue to develop and produce reliable software in future games you develop. I wish you all the best luck.

Thank you very much! I hope we'll live up to your expectations with our next game :)

P.S. Actually we don't even have any "optimization arithmetic within C/C++", it's all java + JNI wrappers to OpenGL/OpenAL. LWJGL did initially include some SIMD interfacing, but it was dropped because of lack of interest and the complexity involved in supporting all platforms .
