tribaltrouble2 not accessible in mainland China

Hi. I am in Shanghai, China.I used to play tribaltrouble2 often. But since late September, for unknown reasons, tribaltrouble2.com has not been accessible in mainland China(The connection has timed out.). I can still visit tribaltrouble.com. Maybe you guys/gals can do something about it to let people like me to play the game? Always remember there are 1.3 billion potential customers for you here.

I don't know why the site is unavailable in China. The site is hosted on Google App Engine and China has previously blocked that in the "Great Fire Wall". I can't confirm that they have done so again, but it wouldn't surprise me. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about that.

Miss you buddy! Was worried something had happened. There look to be a number of different methods being tried to bypass the firewalls, just do some google searches. Hopefully you can get back on soon!

This is not some ordinary firewall, but the Great Firewall of China. :wink:

I don't know any way to bypass it. Actually if someone here tries to visit a blocked site a couple of times(to no avail of course), he/she will lose internet connection for a few minutes.

I am not an expert on this. But I guess tribaltrouble2.com is a "collateral damage" in the blocking of some other website(s). Maybe they have similar IP addresses.If tribaltrouble2.com itself repulsed the people in charge, they would have blocked tribaltrouble.com as well, as they have similar contents.

Maybe I will not be able to play for a while. Don't feel sorry for me lord dork. Let's think of it this way. PRC is much more open than it was 30(or even 10) years ago. Say it would be truly a miracle to see someone in North Korea to join the English discussion here. Though the long term political future of PRC is very much uncertain. I would stop here because this is not a political forum. Good luck.
