Hi all,
Congrats on the release of TT, but sadly, its not working with me:

Image

Notice the text is overlaying the previous one. the mouse drag is trailing, and the ground's texture isn't as nice as those on the screenshots. Having said that, the starting GUI is displaying fine....

System Specs:
Catalyst drivers 5.3 (latest)
ATI Radeon 9200 with 256Mb SDRam
P4 2.26Ghz
512Mb DDR

Ive tried all the LWJGL tests, they work fine. I develop with jme which uses LWJGL fine...

I seen such problem once, with ThinkTanks. It was the problem with version mismatch of gl libs.

So should try to reinstall your drivers... It may be a corrupt install :?

Ive tried 3 times :)

It can't be a missmatch of gl drivers because LWJGL works fine, so does jME, so does AlienFlux...

Did you alt-tab while the game loads? That's especially a problem if Pbuffers are not supported on your system.

You mean "standalone" LWJGL ? There can be mismatch regarding TT libs, try maybe to delete TT gl libs (so those "standalone" will be found and used).

TT comes with its own JRE and with its own LWJGL libs that elias and the rest have obviously tested. Also, i dont have any other LWJGL libs in my path, so TT can't be finding the wrong ones by mistake.

Elias, i didn't Alt-Tab. After the progress bar finished loading, it just did that...

PBuffers work fine on my system, ive checked with the LWJGL PBuffer tests...

Try setting "use_copyteximage" to true in your settings file (should be in the install dir). Also, try setting "use_vbo" to false and setting "use_pbuffer" to false.

just tried that, same problem.

I also tried changing a couple of other things, like the fullscreen_depth_workaround, the bpp, vsync. All led to the same problem.

Yes, please send a bug report. Is it possible you can try earlier drivers (like catalyst 4.x series or just an earlier one in the 5.x series)?

Break through! Seems that setting the use_native_cursor to false, setting use_vbo to false, setting use_pbuffer to true makes the game workable. However, teh terrain still looks too dark, i.e. black.

Ok DP, I have a PC running on an ATI9200, I'll test it asap to see how it works on it...

I've made the test on a computer that use an ATI 9200SE.

And i've got exactly the same problem as DP. I've used his workaround with the settings file, and it works except the terrain which is totally dark (I can see a very dark texture when zooming on it).

Seems like the 9200se is a very bad card... It's not an ATI problem because it runs like a charm on my 9800XT... Hope the TT team will find how to fix this problem because the 9200se comes with a lot of pre-made PC.
